DOW-UAP-PR050: four-UAP formation over water near Iran, August 26, 2022

DOW-UAP-PR050 is the opening sensor video of the PR-series additions in PURSUE Release 02 — a 20-second infrared recording from a U.S. military platform operating over water in CENTCOM's area of responsibility on August 26, 2022. The location is described in the AARO release notes as a maritime approach near Iran.

The frame shows four distinct areas of infrared contrast moving in formation across the sensor field; partway through, a fifth area of contrast enters the frame from the top-left. The geometric arrangement — four bodies in coordinated motion plus an apparent reinforcement — is unusual against the baseline of single-object PR-series encounters from Release 01.

PR050 is the first sensor video in the PURSUE corpus where AARO has publicly catalogued an in-frame UAP formation explicitly near a geopolitically sensitive maritime corridor, and the first to show a fifth object entering an already-active formation.
