East Coast 'Dec 2019' UAP: NORTHCOM infrared sensor footage

Infrared sensor footage from a U.S. military platform in U.S. Northern Command's area of responsibility in December 2019, showing a single unidentified object off the U.S. East Coast. Uploaded to a U.S. classified network in September 2020 and declassified in PURSUE Release 02 — a rare NORTHCOM (continental U.S.) entry in the PR-series corpus.

The 'East Coast December 2019' UAP video — designated DOW-UAP-PR059 in the AARO catalog — is one of the few PR-series entries in PURSUE that records an encounter inside U.S. Northern Command's area of responsibility, i.e., on or off the continental United States. The infrared footage was captured by a U.S. military platform in December 2019 and uploaded to a U.S. classified network in September 2020, where it remained for over five years before declassification on May 22, 2026.

The encounter sits squarely in the lineage of U.S. East Coast military-aviator UAP encounters that Lt. Ryan Graves and Cmdr. David Fravor's contemporaries have repeatedly described: routine, near-aviation-corridor activity that became prevalent enough by the mid-2010s to motivate the Pentagon's UAP Task Force and ultimately AARO itself.
